What is a Pre-Connectorized Round Cable?
Pre-connectorized round cable, also known as 5.0mm round drop cable or FTTH round drop cable, is the tight buffer fiber cable that runs from the distribution point to the subscriber/user. It is suitable for aerial, duct, underground, buried, indoor, and outdoor installations. The cable is available in pre-connectorized assemblies and SM G657A1 and G657A2 fiber types. Besides, a pre-connectorized round cable is specially designed for FTTH application use. Because of its easy-access cable design, this unique cable can be transitioned from outdoors to indoors without the need for a splice or connection point.

Cable Construction
Pre-connectorized round cable uses Φ900um tight buffer fiber as an optical communication medium, the tight buffer fiber is coated with an inner LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket and allocated with a layer of water-blocking aramid yarn as strength member units, and the cable is completed with a black LSZH jacket.
